The NELT (often stylized as "NELT") is a community-led Nether highway project, currently under the jurisdiction of the IBWH.
History
The Nelt was created by Flashy10 as a Vailan Infrastructure Project, with its first lines announced on August 6th, 2019. It was created as a companion project to the BELT (from which it derived its name, "Nether Belt"), in order to connect parts of the world that didn't have access to rivers and canals. It was a revolutionary advancement in Elgeis infrastructure at the time, allowing for passengers to travel across the world in less than a minute.
After a period of Vailic inactivity in fall 2019, the NELT began to transition towards community ownership.
